2003 Mercury Marauder

Description

THIS IS A VERY NICE WELL-KEPT, ONE NON-SMOKING FAMILY OWNED,2003 BLACK MERCURY MARAUDER. 121,207 miles. Original window sticker included. Purchased new by my father and transferred to me in 2006. CLEAN “NO ACCIDENT”CARFAX.
Includes all maintenance records since new, including my detailed Excel spreadsheet of all maintenance.
Salted roads were completely avoided as I have always had my 2002 Chevy Silverusto 4WD for that. So negligible frame rust.   Most oil changes performed personally and regularly by owner with Mobil One 100% synthetic. I do not have receipts for all the Costco oil purchases.  Original tune. Never raced.  Never driven over 100 mph. Mostly highway miles going from Virginia to Indiana, and Virginia to New Jersey several times a year.
All original except for routine maintenance parts including KB Front Struts, TCE Performance Stainless Steel Braided Brake lines, R1 Concepts brake pads and rotors, Morimoto XB LED fog lights.
235/50ZR-18 245/55ZR-18 Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06 Plus SL Tires installed January 2022 (less than 4,000 miles on them).

Cosmetic
Parked in a garage for the first four years only. Hood, roof, and trunk paint damaged from parking under trees dropping seeds. Small chips on hood, stress marks on bumper, paint chips on driver’s lower rear fender and slight indentation on passenger’s lower rear fender (shopping cart?).
You will want to repaint to show but looks OK from a few feet away if a daily driver.
Small ½” crack in windshield on driver side below field of view, recently repaired/filled by Safelite, but still visible.
Small puncture on right rear leather seat.
A few dings in the silver dash panel.
Rear bumper slightly warped underneath from backing into parking garage wall.
Trunk latch cover panel is usable but split in two pieces.
Driver’s seat squeaks in cold weather.  Common issue and there is a simple fix for this.
Original headlight lenses were polished recently but still show scratches and age.
Driver floor mat worn at heel contact point.
Armrests billowed at the bottom. I’m guessing they all do this in the heat?
Mechanical/Electrical
Original coolant crossover tube sanded of minor rust and repainted.
Extension housing seal has a slight leak (no leak on driveway, dealer quoted $120).
Selector shaft seal has a slight leak (no leak on driveway, dealer quoted $175).
Faulty subwoofer amp (intermittent) was disconnected at subwoofer.
Odyssey Extreme battery nearing end of 8-year life, still charges to 94%.
Temperature gauge light bulb out.
Left rear door lock works but doesn’t always fully unlock from driver’s switch.
No timing chain maintenance ever needed or performed.
No suspension airbag maintenance ever needed or performed.
Two sets of original keys with remotes, valet key, original spare donut tire, jack, and full size spare adapter included.
